  • FAR Part 15 vs Sealed Bids in Construction Contracting - Government and Industry Risk Perspectives

    As part of the SAME Construction COI collaborative delivery working group, we have established a strategic partnership with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) to address critical developments in federal construction acquisition. The next session in this series has just been announced, taking place on March 10, 2026.

    This will be a deep dive into how different procurement methods affect industry planning, pricing strategies, and project delivery. It is ideal for demystifying how acquisition choices drive contractor behavior.

    The panelists include:

    • Ms. Paula Beck - USACE Baltimore District Chief of Contracting
    • Ms. Shamekia Chapman - USACE Galveston District Chief of Contracting
